It is hard to believe that in 21 days we will be leaving Vancouver. I have fallen deeply in love with this city and the people here. But I am also incredibly excited about the adventure that is ahead.
Since this is my first post, I thought I would explain the title. I first fell in love with tea in Scotland. I was there over 20 years ago and enjoyed my first steaming pot of "real" tea. It wasn't so much the tea that I enjoyed, it was the fact that at tea time everything would slow down. It was an opportunity to sit with someone and enjoy good conversation. Over the years, I have come to appreciate this time more and more. The question, "Would you like to meet for tea?" means there is something I want to hear from you...I want to hear your story.
I have enjoyed hundreds of pots of tea during my years in Vancouver...with many wonderful friends. So many stories shared and heard.
So I want this blog to be a place where you come with your cup of tea and hear what's up in the Manire life. I hope you will visit often and leave a post about your life as well!
